Payette Financial Services, LLC was formed by two Idaho based professionals
who have extensive experience operating, growing and managing commercial
lending institutions.
Matthew T. Moore, Principal: In addition
to Payette Financial Services, LLC, Mr. Moore has been a principal
and founder in two other successful finance companies: Aviation Finance
Group, LLC which specializes in corporate aircraft lending and AMRESCO
Commercial Finance which focuses on franchise and small business
lending activities. Since 1993, Mr. Moore has been actively
involved in all aspects of commercial lending operations including:
loan origination, credit underwriting, loan servicing, workout strategies,
legal and accounting matters and securitization and other capital
market activities. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Moore worked as an
Analyst and Associate in Dean Witter Reynolds’ Corporate Finance
Department focusing on debt, equity, M&A, and securitization
transactions for financial institutions. Mr. Moore holds a
B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and
a minor in Economics from Colorado State University. Mr. Moore
graduated with highest distinction.
D. Craig Christensen, Principal: Mr. Christensen
has a wealth of experience in structuring and working out higher
risk loans and consulting with borrowers in distressed situations. Since
September 1999, Mr. Christensen has been responsible for all problem
loan activities at AMRESCO Commercial Finance (ACF), a specialized
lender and servicer of franchise and larger small business loans. Prior
to joining ACF, Mr. Christensen spent two years as Managing Attorney
for the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva, Switzerland,
responsible for the resolution of US$ 13 billion of claims filed
by Kuwaiti corporations as a result of the Gulf War. Prior
to that, Mr. Christensen spent six years as a Senior Associate at
Murphy, Weir, & Butler
in San Francisco, California, representing lenders in multi-million
dollar secured financing transactions, out-of-court loan restructurings,
judicial foreclosure actions, Federal, State and Bankruptcy Courts
and in other aspects related to the enforcement of creditor’s
rights. During the spring of 1991, Mr. Christensen served as
judicial extern to the Honorable Thomas E. Carlson, United States
Bankruptcy Judge. Mr. Christensen graduated Magna Cum Laude from
the University of Southern California in 1984 with a B.S. in Business
Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Mr. Christensen
received his Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings
College of Law in 1991. Mr. Christensen is also a certified
public accountant.
